If you are residing in the United States and your Personally Identifiable Information was potentially accessed during the targeted cyberattack on LCPtracker, Inc.'s computer systems that occurred in August 2024 (the "Data Incident"), including, but not limited to, individuals who received notice of the Data Incident, you may be a Class Member and eligible for Settlement Benefits. Excluded from the Settlement Class are: (1) the Judge in this case, and the Judge’s family and staff; (2) LCPtracker and its officers, directors, and related companies; (3) governmental entities; and (4) anyone who validly excludes themselves from the Settlement.
If you are a Class Member and wish to receive Settlement Benefits then you must submit a Claim Form by August 8, 2026.
LCPtracker will establish a Settlement Fund. The Settlement Fund will first be used to pay court-approved attorneys’ fees and costs, Service Award payments for the Plaintiffs, and the costs of administering the Settlement. The net remaining money will be used to pay for Class Member benefits.
All Class Members are eligible to enroll in Credit Monitoring services, and one or both of two Cash Payment options.
Credit Monitoring Services. All Class Members are eligible to enroll in two (2) years of Credit Monitoring by one (1) credit bureau. This benefit comes with $1 million of identity theft insurance, and includes:
If anything, suspicious happens, you will be able to talk to a fraud resolution agent to help fix any problems.
Cash Payment A - Documented Losses. If you incurred actual, documented out-of-pocket losses due to the Data Incident, you can get back up to $2,500.00. The losses must have occurred between August 14, 2024, and August 9, 2026, and you cannot claim a payment for expenses that have already been reimbursed by a third party. This benefit covers out-of-pocket expenses like:
losses because of identity theft or fraud
fees for credit reports, credit monitoring, or freezing and unfreezing your credit
cost to replace your IDs
postage to contact banks by mail
You need to send proof, like bank statements or receipts, to show how much you spent or lost. You can also send notes or papers you made yourself to explain or support other proof, but those notes or papers alone are not enough to make a valid claim. Your proof or notes should show that your expenses were because of the Data Incident.
Your exact payment may be larger or smaller than what you claim, depending on the total claims filed.
Cash Payment B - Pro Rata Cash Payment. In addition to Cash Payment A, all Class Members may claim a one-time cash payment. This payment is expected to be $50.00 but may be larger or smaller depending on the number of claims filed. You do not have to provide any proof or explanation to claim this payment.
To start your online claim form, you must login with your Unique ID and PIN. You can find your ID and PIN on the Notice that was sent to you.
